Gentleman looking for a lady with a sense of style. I am an ambitious but warm person looking for a smart girl. For a living I work in finance and banking mostly but have some side projects as well. I am very much into wine and also have a small export company. I like my work and enjoy being useful to my clients. In the evenings I like to get to the gym and work out the frustrations of the day. I have always found that a strong body makes my mind sharper and stronger as well. Since I was 14 and had talked my mom into my first karate lesson I was hooked. The practice of karate has given me a lot of peace over the years and now I teach classes in the evenings 3 nights a week. I am always surprised how much I get from my students and it is great to know I have a positive impact on their lives as well. I am a bit of a geek, but physically strong and athletic as well. In business I am competitive but ethical. I care about ‘people’ above ‘things’. Money is important to me and I spend a lot of time and effort in it’s pursuit, but I take time for the people in my life, I know it is those few people who are my true friends that will be there for me in the end, so I want to show up for them all along the way. Hiking on the weekends or walking through the city with no real destination helps me clear my mind and keep a connection with the outdoors and nature. I find the sounds of the wind through the trees, the cool breeze against my face, and sight of an ever-changing sky the****utic. I like to walk through the park with my shoes off in the spring and feel the cool grass and earth on my feet. I usually have a book or two on my night stand to read before bed; something like The Secret Life of Plants or A Brief History of Time. I like to stir my mind up before bed… Sometimes I just hang out and watch a movie with my dog (he is a little strange looking but cute in an ugly sort of way). Quiet moments shared with quality people are things I need and like as well. Fitness, art, music, food, wine, philosophy, and all of the sciences are interests of mine. I like meeting women who are down-to-earth and have broad interests. If you have a strong connection with your family and friends, that is a big plus for me. Those human connections are the good stuff a rich life is made of. I think people need that and I know I do. My kind of a girl has good manners and a sense of class and style. I usually go for the brunette in the group but not always. A woman who is good socially and kind to others and warms up when we are alone is attractive…One who is affectionate as well as practical and intelligent.
