Looking for that special person, a long term relationship,marriage if all is right. Someone who is sweet,caring,kind,understanding,thoughtful with a pleasant sense of humor who can be my best friend. When it comes to employment I don't care so much about what a woman does for a living as long as it is legal, ethical and not sleazy. I have always admired those who help others. I do need someone who is intelligent and knowledgeable although formal schooling is not a requirement. Should be open minded ,down to earth,low maintenance,easy to get along with, able to live on their own and has supported themselves at some point in their life. In other words an adult but actual age not so important as long as they are in child bearing years, mentally mature and I find them attractive inside and out (isn't it always the inside which really disappoints others the most?). Physically they should be taller than about 5'3/5'4 and not overweight or too thin. I have a good idea of the type of person I am looking for it's just they are very rare to begin with and it seems always taken. Although I love animals and pets I have too much nice stuff in my place to have the critters climbing all over it. I am open to pet sitting for a day or two though. Music is very important to me. I enjoy listening to ALL types of music (this includes classical,ethnic,etc.) and need someone that can accept that. Things I'm interested in include: Art,Architecture,Food/Cooking,Dancing,Restaurants,Children,Family,Technology,Psychology,Religion,Reading, Computers,Cars,Home Improvement,Current Events,Politics,TV/Radio,Photography,Health,Exercise/Fitness,Nutrition,Economics,Travel For exercise I walk and bicycle (my favorite) ,swim, hike and occasionally shoot baskets.Although a bit older than some I am very much in shape and in fact almost all the younger people I meet have a hard time keeping up with me.Most women find me attractive and I was recently called ***y which gave me a laugh. Things I'm not so interested in: keeping up to the minute on sports (I prefer to participate rather than watch),getting drunk, snobbery,gossip,too much hanging out,constant talking on the phone, texting,excessive tattoos/piercings, mindless movies and video games (the interesting ones are OK) etc. About me: I am open minded, flexible,well read,often funny,sometimes shy. Speak some German and Spanish and a few Greek words. With my family I have lived in California,Florida,Arizona (born),and the NYC area where I was raised and vacation yearly. I have traveled extensively in Europe and North America for work and lived in Europe (Dusseldorf) where I opened an office for a previous employer. So travel is not my number one priority right now (LOL) as I am pretty much settled in the Cleveland,Ohio area and have owned my place here for a while and don't see myself moving right now. I am open to meeting someone from any part of the country or the world for that matter. As for goals I've accomplished most of what I wanted except (like everyone else on here) for finding the right person. So far my job has been pretty stable. My pics are recent except the one with the stash from a few years ago. I have very little negative baggage from previous relationships and do hope for the same from another person.
