I’m a mature gentleman who would like to find romance with a sensual, calm, quiet woman who feels that spirituality, service, personal growth, and learning are important values in life. I am open to the possibility of marriage and children. I haven’t had an opportunity for family and now I would like one. I’m a spiritual psychologist finishing my Ph.D.; I have other, wide-ranging interests as well. My professional path is teaching and research, though I might wind up working in the recovery industry. I am an intellectual academic, cultured and creative by nature; but I’m not looking for a research assistant. I like Baroque, jazz and New Age/meditative music the most, followed by rock, blues, classical, and some world folk. I’m a passionate and affectionate Romantic by nature. I’m strong enough to be weak, and I am always myself: open, forthcoming, and freely sharing my feelings. I want my mate to bring her own creativity to our relationship-gardening, painting, music, pottery, sewing—and hopefully cooking, because I can't. I am a home-loving man: I like my (our) home to be cozy and nurturing, so I can spend a lot of time there. I want to find a woman whose company I enjoy and who enjoys mine too, so we can spend many happy hours together. I’m a cat lover—not too keen on dogs—and I’ve also had fish and hamsters, but right now I have no pets.
