I am a Dad first and foremost to my daughters, a type A personality yet easy going. I am hard working, extremely loyal,affectionate and love with all my heart as it is the only way I know. I have been told that I might be the last truly honest and trustworthy person on earth by friends and family. I was raised by my depression era grandparents and think more like their generation, "the greatest generation", then my own generation. "Old School" is what is often used to describe me. I cherish a woman while also treating her as my partner and equal. I believe that women are the greatest untapped resource in the world. I pride myself on being an honorable man and a gentleman until called upon to be anything but. I believe that all men and women are created equal and that the only race that everyone belongs to is the human race. I believe that "Character" is what matters most in a person. Two of my favorite poems are "If..." and "Don't Quit"....these two poems say more about me than I could ever write. My two favorite songs that I identify most with are "You've got a friend" by James Taylor and "The Story of my Life" by Neil Diamond. If you understand these then you will understand me. I wish to find the last great love of my life. A woman with whom I can develop a "Best friend and lover" relationship with and who wish's to do the same with me. The type of woman who needs to be independent to fulfill her sense of self yet be a warm,loving and giving person as well. A woman... who doe not have a vindictive bone in her body. A woman... who can understand that a child doe's not have to be your own for you to love them just as much as your own. A woman... who understands that giving is the greatest way to receive. A woman...who understands that Family always come's first.
